Energy Efficient Window & Door Replacements
We specialize in installing energy-efficient doors and windows, offering Energy-Efficient Window & Door Replacements.
In addition to energy efficiency credits, homeowners can capitalize on the revised and extended Residential Clean Energy credit.
These credits can provide a 30% income tax credit for clean energy equipment, including rooftop solar, wind energy, geothermal heat pumps, and battery storage, extending through 2032. The credit gradually steps down to 22% for the years 2033 and 2034.
Working with General Contractors that Understand Energy Efficiency
When collaborating with general contractors who understand the significance of energy efficiency in the Colorado Highcountry, homeowners can leverage the benefits of The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. This legislation updates and extends the Section 45L New Energy Efficient Home Credit (§ 45L credit).
For homes and apartments (referred to as dwelling units in § 45L) acquired on or after January 1, 2023, the tax credit for home builders is directly linked to certification under an eligible version of the relevant ENERGY STAR program requirements for single-family, manufactured, and multifamily homes. Importantly, this tax credit extension spans through 2032, providing a valuable incentive for those prioritizing energy-efficient construction in the Colorado High Country.

Homeowners can enjoy substantial savings through new federal income tax credits available until 2032, offering up to $3,200 annually.
These credits aim to reduce the costs of energy-efficient home upgrades by as much as 30 percent. Qualifying improvements include the installation of heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, insulation, doors and windows, along with electrical panel upgrades, home energy audits, and more. By taking advantage of these tax credits, families can not only enhance the energy efficiency of their homes but also save money on their monthly energy bills for years to come.
